luv thyself series - prompt #21

hello lovely humans. how are we doing today? good i hope. i have gotten a lot of support due to people seeing my poem, and for that i am so grateful. it is very little attention on the grand scale, but it is a huge accomplishment to me. if you're new here, say hi! but without further ado, let's get into the prompt.

prompt #21: how do you spend your time alone?

this should be short and sweet because there's really not much that i do. to be honest, rarely do i have time alone because i live with my family, and my sister and i are attached at the hip. we do almost everything together.

what i do in the few moments away from the rest of the family depends on my mood or creative sparks. sometimes i sing. singing may be my first love, so if i some time alone and i want to practice or just have the urge to record covers, i do. other times i like to draw. i'm not talented enough to draw without a reference, but sometimes i find art pieces that i like to use as a reference. as you probably would expect, sometimes i write when i am alone. my thoughts and emotions are much clearer when i'm not surrounded by other people. writing about what comes to mind or things that i have been feeling over time has always helped me process them. whether it is in the form of poetry or journaling, writing has been somewhat of a healing process for me. other than that, i occasionally decide to get work done. i usually have a lot to do and when i'm alone, i get the motivation to be productive. i do some research, finish some drafts for the blog or for other social media apps, clean, and when i was in school, i'd finish homework.

truly though, i don't do much on my own. i enjoy spending my time with my sister so a lot of the self care stuff i do includes her too, including playing games while wearing a face mask, karaoke, talking out my feelings, etc. if you have some things that you love doing in your alone time, let me know! short post today, but i am starting a new poetry project that i'll tell you guys about soon! new pictures are coming too! stay tuned voizies 🤍
