welcome to võice!

first blog post AH! it's been a long time coming & i'm really happy to have the blog all set up and pretty for ya ✨ this won't be an actual blog post, just a little "hi, hello" type of post. if you haven't had a chance to look over the blog, it's basically a collection of my thoughts, interests, and a place for you to interact with me or other people that stumble upon this blog. you'll find music, poetry, random things i write about, things i want to bring attention to in the world, transparent posts about self care/self love, and who knows what else i'll add as time comes? i wanted a creative outlet for myself because i've been stuck in a stressful and confusing mental space. there are times where i've felt very directionless, and i want this blog to help me center myself, at least a little. i also want it to be a way for me to grow both as a writer and as someone who is trying to learn self love. kinda forcing myself to practice those things through this blog. as you can tell by now, this is a multipurpose blog. i'm grateful to be able to share this with you. whatever this blog becomes to you, whether it be a place of comfort, a place for quick motivation or inspiration, or just a place you stop by once in a blue moon to see what i'm doing, i hope that it brings just a little bit of ease and maybe, a bit of joy to your life 💓

now, let's talk business. there are a few rules if you choose to interact with me or other people.

do. not. be. a. d*ck. meaning racist, lgbtq+ phobic, sexist, and any other form of bigotry is not tolerated here. period. also, just don't be rude. if you have something to say, find a respectful way of saying it. have a critique about my writing? let me kno. respectfully. don't agree with a more political/social type of blog post? fine by me. be respectful. bottom line, this is a safe space and a place where i go to for peace. this blog is very important to me, and i've worked meticulously to make it a pretty (literally & figuratively) place for me and whoever comes along. don't try and mess that up.
