prompt #13: what does your perfect day look like?

i feel like i need a drink as i type this. like a margarita. anyways. this isn't exactly an easy question because i'm more of a spontaneous person. i don't plan my days out. so my perfect day may very well be a day full of me doing whatever i want randomly. but if i had to plan, well, i would wake up knowing that i didn't have a single thing i HAD to do. no work, no life crisis things to worry about, no family problems, no errands to run. just a day blocked off for me. i'd lay in bed for a while after i open my eyes as i always do, but not for as long as i usually do. maybe an extra 10 minutes to check notifications. then, i'd get up and brush my teef, wash my face, and do my daily skin care routine. then, i'd put on a stylish and comfy outfit and do my makeup perfectly because that never happens. i'd grab everything i needed to head out to a cozy, but busy cafe for a mocha or iced coffee and breakfast. the sun would be warm and bright, but not too bright that it's blinding. you know those days when the sun and the weather are perfect? the sun is up and everything's aglow, but you're not scorched? and there's that soft, constant breeze just making you want to walk outside forever? yea that. i'd probably sit at the cafe for an hour eating, sipping, watching whatever show i'm addicted to, and enjoying the weather outside and the people entering and getting their days started.
i forgot to think about if i'd be with my sister or not. probably would because we do everything together, but if i forgot about her then i'd go pick her up. woops. after breakfast, we'd set out for a drive to a museum. oddly enough i'm also thinking about the museum in savannah. it's a beautiful city. i recommend visiting :) anyways, we'd go to a museum. one that is beautiful and bright with unique exhibits. a fun one with quirky rooms too. we'd take lots of pictures and actually take our time exploring. we've always been rushed when going to any place with our parents on vacations. so on a perfect day, we'd take our time.
after we've seen the museum, we'd probably be hungry again. so, we'd probably go to another bakery type place, but to be honest... maybe it's because i'm craving it now, but i really would go to waffle house 😂 look i know people have their reservations about the place, but it hits sometimes. so yea waffle house is an option. we'd eat lunch and laugh a whole bunch because we cannot take each other seriously at all. after that we probably would feel a little sluggish because of the food. so option one would be go home and rest and watch k-pop or a show we're binging. option two, go roller skating. roller skating has become a way for us to destress here and there while busting our asses. we have a playlist and everything. so we'd probably go roller skating at a park just for the fun of it before going home.
after that, we'd go home. i'd want to rest a while and then shower and change into another outfit for the night. just because i never do that. i never change into another outfit for going out at night. i just wear what i wore when i went out during the day. so yea, cute kinda edgy outfit for the night or maybe go more tomboy. then we'd go to one of those squares where people are just walking and shopping and eating outside, preferably one with a karaoke and korean bbq place because we love to karaoke. we do it religiously with the disco light and everything. so we'd walk around for awhile because there would be string lights and the square would be buzzin'. it's not your regular square though. more like a street market place with street food vendors and maybe some odd shops with antiques. thinking real asian street market, chinatown vibes here. or maybe chelsea market place? idk depends on how we're feeling that night.

after browsing through enough stores, we'd go to the korean bbq place to eat. lots of meat and rice and a peach soju for me cause ya girl would love to try that, but not too much so i can drive. after we've eaten till our heart's content, cover your ears because we're screaming every k-pop song we know along with dancing to the snippets of choreography that we know. friendly strangers could even join (even though she wouldn't like that but in this perfect day she doesn't mind and we're gonna pretend that we're extroverts for a day). so after lots of loud singing, we'd drive around for the night, while blasting music with nowhere to really go until we decide to head home. if it was just me though, i'd go to a beach or a lake because there aren't many in georgia that i can just go to. so, i'd head to the beach just sit and enjoy the weather and watch the moon and the stars, an unmatchable feeling. finally, i'd head home, change into pajamas, play some games or read a book, maybe get a head start on tomorrow's work. i'd probably put on a nice little face mask cause ya girl loves skincare :) after all that, i'd sleep and hopefully the next day doesn't bring too much trouble.
i didn't think i'd ever walk through a perfect day, but now that i have... i wish it could come true ha. hopefully, one day it's possible. for now, i gots to get going so i hope you enjoyed reading about my perfect day. let me know what yours would be (doesn't have to be as detailed, just a summary). till next time voizies 🤍

how did you know that i wouldn't like singing with random strangers? haha you know me well
